As the Global Channel Marketing Manager, you will define and create global channel marketing campaigns and programs to increase partner lead generation and incremental revenues, which can be implemented regionally by field marketing staff. Working with partners and Sophos staff, identify best practices and develop global tools and templates that can be leveraged in other regions to improve business results and partner performance.

This position is based at our US office in Burlington, MA, and will require occasional travel globally.

Main duties

  • Develop and implement a worldwide channel marketing program including strategy, levelling and deliverables that meets the needs and can be executed by the subsidiaries
  • Execute needs analysis for current channel marketing program in each subsidiary
  • Manage all aspects of the planning and implementation of direct mail campaigns targeting the channel and their customers.
  • Implement co-marketing programs to Sophos partners
  • Building and maintaining relationships within Sophos with field channel marketing staff
  • Monitor the performance of the program, eliciting feedback for each subsidiary, identifying and agreeing improvements. Understand deviations from the agreed strategy and address these with the subsidiary marketing teams, escalating as necessary
  • Identify the best practice in partner marketing activities within Sophos and ensure that this is included in the global programs and shared across the subsidiaries
  • Serve as an interface between Global Marketing, Strategic Alliance, Sales and Field Channel Marketing teams
  • Develop standard channel marketing plan template for subsidiaries to use with channel partners, and work with subsidiaries to ensure these plans are completed adequately
  • Collaborate with other global functions to identify and create opportunities for partner involvement to achieve sales and business plan objectives
  • Partner with SophosEducation to ensure that educational and program materials are appropriately marketed to channel partners
  • Provide ROI analysis of investments and success measurement of programs

Experience and skills

You will need to demonstrate experience of the following:

  • Designing and implementing an International channel marketing program
  • Worked with subsidiary organizations
  • Partner experience from the IT Industry
  • Co-marketing campaign experience with partners
  • P&L/Budgeting Experience
  • Operated in an international role including NA and European operations
