my website is in a good position on Google, number 3 yesterday and shows as number 1 today for a specific key term. Mostly I have done this myself and I feel the money I've spent on seo experts over the years has been overall a waste with a few exceptions for helpful tips I learnt by using them.

I'm still looking for a seo expert to guide my site through the new era of social media, and keep me in the top positions. What i find is a lot of so called experts who may as well be selling used cars.

I've even used google certified adwords gurus who had a fair knowledge of adwords but not much else.

I don't know where to find these people. The SEO/marketing gurus. If they really exist at all.
