Hi guys,
So I've been playing around with Google Caffeine, and I've noticed that the rankings for some keywords are drastically different between the two. For example, searching in current Google the phrase "plantation shutters" lists our website toward the top of page two (granted, that's not ideal - but it's much better than three months ago!). in Caffeine our site is middle of page three.
Is there a significant difference between the two engine's algorithm?

I couldn't figure out what this was all about so I "Googled" it. It wasn't working at the time, but more info can be found at.

Wouldn't you have to think

Wouldn't you have to think that no matter what technical changes that they make to the algorithm that stand On-Page/Off-Page SEO advice still stands the test of time?
Do these "right" things on-page things and create quality content that people want to link to and share.
Yes at the end of the day you can spend lots of time trying to get all technical on Google to squeak out a few more places in ranking, but don't you think that is more important developing more unique, valuable, and creative content to rank for additional long term keywords that people will want to link to and share?
I just have to think that when all is said and done SEO has always been about usability and accessibility and it's the creative and compelling content that does well because people enjoy it enough to share and link to it. You have to think those fundamental things will never change and that is 99% of what I teach people.
Agree, but still looking for an answer

Hi KyleJames,
Thanks for your input! I definitely agree with you on promoting relavent content; I'm always promoting industry related content I've either found or personally written, am conversing with professionals worldwide, and am reading and commenting on related blogs. Of course, I also think of that's basic marketing.
My question is why Google Caffeine doesn't see my content as relevant as the current Google does.
Thoughts?
