We’ve launched a new integrated campaign that utilizes the brand’s humorous voice, we’ve partnered with the NFL to create a world-class customer promotion, we’ve returned to the Super Bowl in 2009 and we continue to use aggressive on-line marketing to build our business.
Monster is looking for an experienced marketer to help architect and execute a strategic approach to customer relationship marketing and vertical segment marketing to help accelerate our growth. The Vice President of Strategic Marketing will manage lead-generation, build business in key growth segments, and help mine our extensive data to create greater marketing ROI. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, she/he will not only manage a large team of marketers responsible for CRM and Segment marketing, but will play an essential role in driving the strategic direction of the brand.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Marketing
* Partner with sales leadership to create a cohesive bond between marketing and sales to drive business success globally.
* Manage the measurement of marketing activity to ensure success.
* Help prioritize resources and activity to ensure that marketing drives the greatest return on investment.
* Partner with our research and insights team to better mine data to influence marketing.
CRM
* Create the vision for CRM globally
* Manage a team of global CRM marketers to drive greater success
* Lead multi-phase, channel-neutral, personalized contact plans
* Spearhead a more robust customer and consumer segmentation approach to drive future activity
* Improve lead-generation approach.
Segment/Channel Marketing
* Manage a team of vertical marketers to drive business against priority verticals.
* Partner with e-commerce team to improve efficacy of e-com marketing approach
Qualifications:
* Proven track record developing successful marketing programs across a variety of channels and media – minimum 15 years experience.
* Experience managing large budgets and extensive P&L responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
* Proven leadership skills
* Strong strategic marketing and analytics background, ability to translate market and customer insights into smart strategic and executional plans
* Experience working in a global organization environment.
* Experience working with outside agency partners collaboratively
* Expertise in both consumer and B2B marketing
* Undergraduate degree is required; MBA is preferred.
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, high personal standard and professional ethics.
* Ability to make decisions quickly, deal with ambiguity and to continuously adjust to dynamic conditions.
* Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of an organization, including executive, cross-functional partners and business unit leaders.
