Director of Social Media

Currently seeking Director to lead the growing social media arm of our business. This person will manage all parts of the social media department, including sales, execution, reporting, training, and departmental growth. As the Director of Social Media, you will:

• Oversee, create and implement SMM service offerings
• Ensure high quality execution of all social media work through effective management of a growing business
• Create and refine processes related to sales, services, renewals, up-sells, measurement, reporting and interdepartmental campaigns for SMM
• Keep up with industry trends, identifying growth opportunities and potential partners
• Support Business Development and Account Teams in all SMM sales and presentations
• Support Marketing in development of social media case studies, white papers, research reports, blog posts, or other external assets
• Lead cross-company projects, continually seeking new points of innovation while disseminating knowledge of social media industry, processes, best-practices and capabilities
• Create and implement innovative social media campaign ideas for current accounts and prospects
• Interact with industry peers via social media and offline events
• Manage vendor relationships
• Oversee upkeep for all SMM assets, such as internal databases, documentation, reporting templates, and presentations

Qualifications

• 8 – 10 years experience in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, ecommerce, communications or creative marketing
• In-depth knowledge of Social Media, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing a must
• Agency experience or experience with Fortune 1000 brands
• Proven managerial experience
• Innovative thinker, intuitive learner, with ability to quickly find solutions in fast-moving industry
• Excellent research, writing and presentation skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint expertise
• BA/BS or equivalent
