The Pop-up Technology, Apture & SEO

Hello all. Thought it was about time that I joined the conversation.

I have a question for you, concerning the pop-up technology called Apture.com. I've begun using it on my blog, and I it works brilliantly, but are you familiar with any SEO related problems by using these technologies?
I'm a bit curious about how Google tackles it, and how it influences my outbound links.

It uses javascript so Google shouldn't really count these as outgoing links, but I personally wouldn't use anything like that for usability reasons. It's just annoying to the visitors.

Hi again.... Apture do create SEO friendly links actually..... When you link to a apture pop-up it looks like this....

"<a id="aptureLink_K9jtvXKjuC" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/rocketscience">Rocket Science</a> "

It's the id that triggers the pop-up, leaving the outbound link seo friendly.

You wrote "It's just annoying to the visitors" -  I personally HATE all kinds of pop-ups, but with Apture I have to disagree .. it ads extra functionality...
