Directories and My Blog

We have submitted to DMOZ, Zoom, and other directories but after 3 months we still have not been listed on either DMOZ or Zoom.
- Does it really take this long or is there something else we need to do?
Seperately, for financial reasons, right now our blog is not hosted with our website. The domains are www.TheArtGallerist.com (for the website) and blog.TheArtGallerist.com (for the blog). Our blog has been listed on Technoratti but still when we do Hubspot's Website Grader they don't see the blog and therefore we don't get credit for it.
- Does our blog need to be hosted together with our website in order for Hubspot to see it?

Hi Brian,
Make sure that there is a link to http://blog.theartgallerist.com from http://www.theartgallerist.com. That way, HubSpot's Website Grader should be able to see it, as hosting your blog on a subdomain is a fine thing to do. In fact, HubSpot's blog is hosted at http://blog.hubspot.com.

Hi Brian,
I am not sure how long ago you have submitted your site, but this generally takes over 6 months.
